Finishing Collections

June 10th, 2011-This hiatus from blogging has an upside: The finishing of collections. Bustees is elated at the progress that has been made as the remaining flat designs are being finished over the coming weekend!

The men's product line has grown into a fully functional range of clothing for the summer season. Bustees is leaning toward complementing colors throughout as well as a variety of graphic tees and shorts. We think it's time to build the samples of the mens' clothing line and see how the public responds to its stylish repertoire.

On another note: Bustees has run into a financing opportunity and is looking foward to further development with the situation. More to come!

Advancing Regardless

March 23rd, 2011-There's nothing like a bad economy to push back production. However, this time serves a purpose: going back to the drawing board, literally. Bustees is looking forward to debuting with a small collection to wet fan's appetites, but there's so much more we are looking forward into growing.

So time is being spent on producing multiple collections for women and men! Bustees will cover a woman's curves with supportive bikinis all the way to a man's skivvies. Yes, you read us right!

Bustees is looking forward to this design process. It will be a long one, but fruitful in the end. Everyone will be able to share in a piece of Bustees and contribute in helping us develop an annual event for charity!

The Teaser: Sneak peek of the women's line!

January 19th, 2011-Happy New Year everyone! Bustees has began 2011 on a positive note as we had a popular ending to 2010. Now, we look forward to the reaction of the new women's accessories inventory that was sent in today's email blast.

However, nothing beats the upcoming photo shoot!

A sneak peek at the women's line (what we've been dying for you to see) is upon us! After this Monday's photo shoot, Bustees looks forward to getting the brand name in front as many fans as possible as well as giving our female clients a better idea of how we can help fit their curvy bodies!

New Additions to Etsy Launching Tomorrow!

December 12th, 2010-The Men's Tees debut on Black Friday were well received! A new run of tees are about to be put into production for Christmas deliveries! The men's tees vintage pin-up girl graphics has sparked a clever idea for packaging the tees. Details coming soon!

New scarves are to be launched on the Bustees Etsy site by the end of tomorrow! At least 12 new designs are to be added with free gift wrapping available!

Bustees Men's Tees Debut!

November 19, 2010-Next week is a big week for Bustees. The two men's t-shirts will be debuted at the end of the week, and I am anxious to see how they will be received. Bustees has teamed up with American Apparel to produce the men's tees.

The men's tees follow suit the same as all Bustees products: they support a curvy world and that means contributing to breast cancer research.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Men's Tees to support the cause

October 15th, 2010-Well, the women's samples have begun but are proceeding a little slower than I'd like, but I'm pushing forward, regardless. I am looking forward to seeing the rough draft of the Bustees press release at some point this weekend!

The biggest excitement for Bustees this week? The production of the men's tees! Bustees is teaming-up with American Apparel to gather men from all over who will become acquainted with our tagline. As I look forward to picking up the tees for surface design today, I am looking forward to the acceptance of the Bustees concept by men everywhere.

Bustees will also be adding scarves to it's etsy site, here. There will be scarves ornamented with the oh-so-famous pink ribbon to honor breast cancer awareness month within the week, so keep checking back! With the purchase of any Bustees piece, a percentage is donated to breast cancer research.

Nearing Sample Making

After attending the LA Textile Show on Monday, I discovered more suppliers for fall fabrics and even a contractor to take care of all pattern grading and even sample making. This can really come in handy if I become overwhelmed closer to the Fashion Show date in November.

With the press release being taken care of elsewhere, I am getting closer to breaking away from my laptop to take care of correspondence and getting closer to my pattern table! I can't wait to get started! There are so many great pieces to be made for this event!

I hope the collection is well received and the concept sits well with the audience present. I think boutiques that cater to the same client I do will be happy with my results.
